  2. This is only tangentially related to the video.

    Capitalism is a flawed system. My reasoning is as follows: capitalism is built on just that, capital. Whether it be money or people, you need to have capital to get anything done or moving forward. Inherently, those with the most capital are able to capitalize the most, compounding their wealth. In addition to the rich getting richer, they are able to corrupt systems because of it(like America which has legalized bribes in forms of PAC money, "lobbying") and can leverage their ability to "take their business elsewhere" ie outsourcing, hiring illegal/legal immigrants who are willing to work for much less than the average American.

    Anyway, my point is, although it was an eye-opener for many, the '08 bailouts weren't the beginning of this oppression. Capitalism has and always benefit those who are already wealthy. Unfortunately, since we've convoluted the difference between wealth and power, we've allowed the powerful (ie congress) to become excessively wealthy by way of the wealthy trying to incur power..
